Well yeah, that's the thing. We have no way of differentiating between people in the know and people making stuff up. Especially as the genuinely in the know folk aren't exactly going to out their sources.
I just doubt everyone without a track record and apologise after!

I always find it's best to pile on first and then worry about the facts afterwards. It's more entertaining that way
