It was looking better after the England win but think there was a little wobble against Ireland when they lost the setpiece.
Think that’s what really makes for a game versus the French on Friday. France need to outplay Scotland by 21 points and the Scots are looking to finish 2nd and stake claims.
I’d say Hogg, Russell, Watson and Sutherland will be shoo-ins perhaps even in the Lions starting XV but there are probably a few others who are on the fringe (Ritchie, Gray, Price, vd Merwe, Jones, Johnson) and they all need big games on Friday. | |
