Deja vu 18:46 - Apr 24 with 734 views | homer_123 | New owners.....new manager. Yet the same old same old. The odd spell of football isn't enough. Here's hoping that a player clear out is the missing piece in the jigsaw because....frankly....we are sh*t. For whatever reason, Cook hasn't been able to get anything from the players. We are going backwards. We have to hope that we can recruit virtually an entire squad over the summer (and do not underestimate how tough that is going to be) because very few of our current crop appear up to the task. What a nightmare.

Deja vu on 18:49 - Apr 24 with 716 views | chrismakin | Good job we have a manager who has been very successful in rebuilding complete squads and gaining promotion from the league we are in. Time for everyone to relax, see the season out and quit worrying come next season, if it's no good, then is the time to get the bedsheets out. I'd be worried if Cook had 0 experience in rebuilding a squad, and i'd be worried if he was inexperienced at this level, he's neither, so just be patient. enjoy the sun and look forward to the summer

I'm not sure there is anything inherently wrong with having concerns about rebuilding an entire squad. Or being concerned about our new manager not being able to get an ounce more out of the current squad. I find it equally odd that many seem to blindly ignore both of those points. Each to their own I guess.

Indeed though I'm delighted we have both.

There is a small difference between having add 3 or 4 players and having to get 18 new ones in.

Signed alot more than 3 or 4 players. This is the perfect job for him, tbh, there's not many I would actually trust to do it at our level.

No one could get much out of players who are only worried about staying injury free and a few loanees who are only playing to reduce risking the (to be) released players. Wait and see. We will have sprinkling of Scottish Dutch players and we'll have a 1980s flavour.
