Not me. Surrounding himself with all his mates as coaches isn’t doing it for me.

I hope you are right but I'm waiting until end of September mid October and seeing where we are.

Yes I'm not taken by him FWIW I think his record so far is appalling with a group of players that got 50 points from the first 30 games. However we have to accept that he is here at the start of the season so we have go with it. That's why he will be judged after 15 games or so.

Here's hoping we all look silly fools after 40 points from the first 15 games.

I was a massive Cook advocate. He was my first choice and I was delighted we got him.

But.....the concern about his coaching team is valid in my opinion.

The limp surrender of a play off shot was very disappointing.

And the release of Nydam has really upset me.

So right now I am not really feeling it. Roll on August.

Agree totally regarding Nydam, the coaching one is a wait and see. Most successful managers have a good sidekick.

There's going to be huge upheaval at Town so don't be surprised if it's a sticky start to the season. While I expect to see the team performing with intensity & purpose, we all expected that from the Hurst regime, which was a disaster, so I won't be holding my breath. Hurst had considerable success in the lower leagues as well.

Obviously he’s got a good track record from elsewhere, but he’s still got it all to prove here hasn’t he. I’m not feeling it so far either, but I’m trying to ignore that as this season has been a disaster and he deserves the fresh start of a new season. It’d be nuts to judge him now.

Drinan though . Presumably backup in case we can’t land a decent striker. I hope he’s got a near cert CB coming in to replace Wilson. I can’t think of any other reason why you’d let Wilson go but take up the option on Drinan. Harsh on Nydam too - I’d have though a loan to prove himself after the injuries would have been a better option.
