Brilliant ref in the Champions League final on 22:34 - May 29 with 1239 views | The_Last_Baron | He was brilliant. Only decision he got wrong was when Mount fell over his own feet and he gave a free kick. Chelsea much better and deserved to win. Strange team selection by Pep.

Brilliant ref in the Champions League final on 09:47 - May 30 with 746 views | Swansea_Blue | He was excellent and the opposite the Championship PO ref who fell for everything. The BBC 5 live bunch of muppets having a right whinge about him yesterday though in the lead up to kick off, saying he may want the Champs League final to be about himself and he was a showboater. It was a most bizarre attempt to create a talking point when the reality was far different.

I can't remember who it was in the second half for Chelsea, might have been Jorginho. It was one of the most ridiculous attempts to con the ref I've ever seen, but the ref was having none of it. There were a couple of occasions he could have been more harsh though. I thought the assault on De Bruyne could have merited worse.

A more draconian ref would have shown Rudiger the red card in a theatrical manner that Paul Durkin would approve of. One thing I enjoyed last night was seeing some of the multi-millionaire footballers having a good cry after their defeat. De Bruyne the main candidate. At least the City players had the grace to keep their medals around their necks and show some respect for their achievements in coming second, a contrast to their Manchester neighbours who acted like spoilt brats when presented with their silver medallions. I suspect Pep pointed this out to them prior to the pomp and ceremony. I like this Tuchel man, I like Pep too, but Tuchel has a bit more madness about him and is clearly an entertaining fellow. One of the new breed of super managers who will dominate for the next decade. Let's see if next season Pep can finally work out how to get the better of him, judging by last night I doubt it.
