To share a photo of our former players celebrating a goal against their former club - that reason enough? To share the observation that in the Ipswich fans last night there were one of two Town fans already berating the former players for doing for what they are now paid to do, which I thought was ridiculous and somewhat interesting? Is that reason enough? What do you want me to post about?

It's a really provocative Title. It makes it look like that is what you think about a few players who have been released by Ipswich Town and have decided to play for a club nearby because they like the area and don't want to uproot their family. Do you think that they are "Traitorous Scum"? We released them, they didn't run their contracts down so that they could get more money from Colchester and shaft us. Just take a minute to think about the examples of cyber-bullying of people in the public eye, and the impact that it has on their mental health. These people all still live in the wider Ipswich area, and will, doubtless, at some point eat in Ipswich restaurants or drink in Ipswich pubs or clubs. Just because one twot near you said this during a match, doesn't mean that it should be repeated, or become a meme, and impact these people in real life when some pssed up bloke on the Waterfront shouts it at them when they are out with friends. Not least because, as I have explained above, it simply isn't true. They have been thanked by the club and moved on, they aren't traitors who have sneaked out on us.

This seems a rather heavy response to a title that merely suggested that some fans of a previous club were possibly not able to rejoice in seeing their former heroes in a different shirt. Treachery was not mentioned. The O.P. has repeated nothing of what he may have heard. Good causes are not improved by finding fault where there is none.

Good photo of former players - some Town fans not so positive on 19:08 - Jul 28 with 1235 views | Trequartista | Players may make lots of diplomatic statements, but ultimately they are only human beings and if they are playing against a team that no longer thinks they are good enough to play for them, they're going to be bang up for it.

In that case, good on him, although, as I can't see the O.P. then I can't make a personal judgement on its propriety. or otherwise. I honestly doubt whether old pros who change clubs would be much fazed by insult from previous fans.
