Yes. It was partly a rhetorical question but also one based on the fact that any drug company must realise there is a limit to what will get paid. Selling a certain number of doses for a hefty fee is surely better than not actually selling any at all. Hence, also a little curious about how much did get paid. I guess there could be very significant manufacturing costs involved as well, especially with the gene technology involved here. |  |

Development far more expensive than manufacturing, but yes that might be significant as well. It costs billions to take a drug to market, and you only have a certain time window to sell it before the patent becomes generic. |  | |  |
