Seem to remember Rathbone playing well against us last season. Wasn't he at Rochdale?
Evans has been really disappointing overall so far. It's only a few games and I think most of the squad will play better once we get 3 points and get that monkey off our back, but as one of the more experienced signings and our current captain I'd hoped for a bit more from him. |  |

Tho that graph would suggest he doesn't have an issue in that regard, having engaged in a pretty close to average number of duels par game for the division. He gets stuck in, just isn't winning them.

It's not unduly surprising that a player who missed a couple of weeks of pre-season has looked well below par over the last month, see also KVY.
A good first half against Morecombe is well below what was expected of Evans (and that's really all it has been so far) but hopefully a two week break will help with his fitness. |  |

Fingers crossed. We do need players getting up to speed, a few have looked leggy late on in games. If we do somehow pull the Morsy deal off I wonder how much fame time Evans will get. On what we've seen so far I think Harper has more to his game and once Carroll is fit he brings some real pedigree. | |

But for clarity the measure is ”Want to win the game more than the opposition” - this perhaps needs tweaking to; “Have the greater energy, desire and impetus to win the game”
Evans will want it, but does he have the mind set and confidence to grab the game, DRIVE TOWARDS ADVERSITY
Clearly the answer is no as he’s out of form and out of confidence, he needs some luck, some support and to play himself back into confidence.
I feel together we have calibrated the model to be even more powerful and imperious before, I salute you
