He and his wife have Covid...he's fine...his wife really struggling. Suggested people test to be safe etc.

In the space of six and a half hours....four boys and six parents have also tested positive!

That is probably pretty standard attendance figures in some parts of Clacton or Walton.

I know we will never know but I wonder how many people think they just have a cough and cold because it's that time of year when we all get coughs and colds but are actually suffering from COVID.

Given LFTs aren't hard to get hold of that number should really be quite small if people take some personal responsibility.

Obviously they aren't perfect but not hard to spend 15 minutes taking a test.

It should be but it won't be. Unless people are really laid up feeling rotten I would hazard a guess many of those people won't bother especially now furlough has ended. Yes they should do , but they won't. I was rough last week so took a test even though I had covid in July. I don't know if you can catch it again that quick but I was negative.

Just curious SB and not having a go but why do you comment on any single COVID post/thread?

Obviously you have more than a passing interest in the subject but seeing how you seem to have got adversely impacted by some of the posting by dubious individuals such as digger etc. i wonder if it may be better for you to take a break from it or just sit back.

I'm fairly sure they are wind up merchants anyway.

Just wondered because you seem a decent sort and wouldn't want it to become something that increasingly winds you up.
