Well come on then..... 21:47 - Dec 7 with 1099 viewsBanksterDebtSlave

...who thought that sacking Cook just before this run of fixtures and in front of a packed out P.R. was ever going to work out well?

PackoutPR was never going to work with or without Cook. Anyone who thought it would needs their head testing.

We've run before we can walk with that.

As for Cook going...yep...def the right time. No reason to think not.

Do you think it's made that much difference? Was so much worse than the preceding few performances (given they were against the bottom team, Youths and the division below)?

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Alternatively it could be a chance to get behind a new manager who has just come in.

No difference, really, think we'd have lost under Cook, just not sure what we're going to gain by having to hire a new manager at this point in the season when lots of good candidates won't come, and getting promotion next year is going to be absolutely critical.

Don't see why good candidates wouldn't come. Transfer window coming up with money to spend. A free hit if any improvement at all can be made. Big fanbase. Some decent players if they can be organised and motivated.

What so that the new manager can use the January window to ensure we finish nowhere...you might as well have run with Cook and then called time on him after 35 to 40 games if it wasn't getting better.

Cook had 35 to 40 games and we were going backwards.

can you tell why we play 2 defensive midfielders, in league 1 who can't seem to mark ,tackle or create a single chance.
we never pass forward as a 1st option.
it's this ponderous crap slow possesion one for the purists type football.

Nope, we were clearly in need of some work but Cook had a plan, we now dont have one. Everyones said how hard working he was and the majority of the players were here for him. Cant believe people are shocked these same players are pïssed off and didnt put a shift in. The only person that's going to make any difference to this season is Warnock but if we offer him anything beyond the end of the season im finally jacking in the season ticket.

I thought the club did well with this. They brought it out when we were doing fairly well. People had the buzz.....

Now it's like "do I have to go"

I agree i thought the club should of took stock after the Lincoln game and if results never came then act by sacking Cook but i can’t help think panic set in and Cook was the fall guy ,
Still feel it was too soon but it is what it is i just hope we’re all going to be happy with the new appointment i thought we were with Cook.
