No idea whether the speculation is true about a loan recall, but whether it is or isn't, I reckon Christian is easily the best keeper we have had since Bart and possibly even including Bart. He has commanded the area, been a great stopper for us and great as a sweeper keeper. Would love to see him sign permanently, but if it's not to be then I'd like t say thanks and wish him the best of luck for the future (except when he plays against us of course). |  |

He seems to do most things well, yes there are areas for improvement but he’s a big upgrade on Holy and Hladky and it will be more noticeable once Walton is out of the side as to what he brings. At the end of the day, he’s too good for L1 IMO and should be playing at a higher level. | |

To be fair to Walton, he’d not played for months when he was thrusted into the side against Bolton it’s a tough ask to expect anyone to perform if then haven’t been playing consistently and so short on match fitness. | |
