Belfast film 19:46 - Jan 24 with 879 views | bluelagos | Saw it last night, well worth watching / trip to the cinema. Moving, eye opening, thoroughly depressing and heart warming too.

Belfast film on 08:22 - Jan 25 with 695 views | The_Flashing_Smile | We saw it Sunday as well. Pretty gritty/powerful, Lady Dollers (who is Irish) was in tears at the end. Not much of a story in all honesty, in the traditional sense of a plot/story arc, just a horrible time for those involved, with the odd bit of relief like the trip to the cinema or playing basketball together in the park.

Belfast film on 10:13 - Jan 25 with 657 views | bracknell_blue | We went on Sunday. Thoroughly enjoyed it - great cast and acting, brilliantly directed, Van Morrison music and, as you say, very moving. Indeed I was struggling to hold back the tears at the end.

I think the lack of a strong plot is partly what I enjoyed. Just a brutally honest window into the life of an ordinary family at the start of the troubles.

Indeed, wasn't a criticism just unusual, and added to the realism of course.
