Why on earth are talking about a busy summer again? 17:20 - Feb 26 with 695 viewshomer_123

Apart from putting the ball in the net we've played some fantastic football again today.

I don't see any reason to overhaul the squad again. McKenna is showing he can coach and develop players.

Really not wanting to see another mass squad change again.

Because our strikers aren’t good enough

I think it’s a good squad now, and quite settled. But yeah upfront we need a complete overhaul.

Wouldn’t change anyone at the back, just add some cover. Still need someone on the left. Bakinson has been okay but not sure he’s really much upgrade on what we have. I’d lose all four of our strikers.

It will be busy really

Norwood
Bonne
Jackson
Pigott
Burgess
Celina
Bakinson
Thompson
Harper
Aluko
Edwards
Caroll

We don't know who is KM's plans... But all of the above COULD be let go in some form

My concern is, next season HAS to be promotion, any failure and I can see the pension fund saying fk it,

We have only 1 of our 4 strikers guaranteed to be her next season, with 2 of our attacking midfielders and 2 of our 4 “holding” midfielders not guaranteed to be here so I guess that will mean either working to retain or replacing those due to leave. Plus we need to sort out left wing back.

Obviously won't be on the same scale but it'll be reshaped a bit more in McKenna's image.

The forward positions need a refresh to some degree, the LWB position isn't really sorted, and the CM positions will need refining. Some to go to accommodate that so will be several out and several in.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

If we could keep what we have together (Celina might be tough, but we should do everything we can to keep him), then add two quality strikers who can hold the ball up and attack the ball with confidence in the box this squad under McKenna would murder this division next season. We're as close as that. Even one quality striker if he can stay fit.

Because we need the strikers.

The base of the team is all there. 1 goal conceded in 6 games. Boooooooooooo. No idea….waaaaaa. Thompson no goooood etc etc.

Back to the planet earth the basis of the team is there. We’re are struggling to find the right combo up front, obviously as we are not maxing out on our possession or chances. The squad will also naturally have some ins and outs in the summer, but I don’t think it’s too far short of having a devastating team for this level.

My faith maybe misplaced, but I don’t think it is.

I think most views have been quite accurate and there hasn't been any over the top negative posts.

I think it's ok for people to question why such a rotation of a front line, likewise Thompson hasn't set the world on fire and you do have to wonder where the difference is between him and Penney.
