But Edmundson rarely gets forward . That and Thompson not getting forward is the problem down the left . Edmundson comes forward a little in our half but then always puts it sideways to Woolfie who carries forward.

He started to go forward but KM restricted it. Wolf and JD are the ones who get forward.
I'm not as gutted to lose edmundson as I would be if it was burns. Wolfy has been the more solid of the 2 since KM has been here and I think Burgess will cover well.
you didn't really address Homers point which is correct. It's more Wolfenden than Edmundson
We won't miss Edmundson for getting forward. In fact I'm not particularly comfortable when he does. Wolfenden is far better with the ball at his feet than George

Andy Warren made an interesting point on one of the KOA podcasts, saying that as Donacien and Burns maraud forwards, Thompson and Fridge often pivot round to give us a back 4 effectively allowing JD and Burns the freedom to push on...Burgess will do this well imo.
