I should think so if we can win today.

Need to do what we’ve done 8/10 of the last games.

Or get another.

We’re not conceding 2.

If Sheffield Wednesday don't win today it would certainly help a lot.

On life support, but not dead yet.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

In all seriousness, they are live but barely. Win every game we almost certainly make it. Win 6 of 7 and we have about a 50% chance. Very little margin for error and while it's possible, it's not probable to have such a fantastic finish.

The issue that has really hurt us is that teams have not fallen by the wayside and the points required has stayed stubbornly high. 80 points might not be enough, and that's crazy.

As it stands, effectively 8 behind with 6 games left.

So no.

Yep. We're just waiting for it to be mathematically impossible. The chance of us winning all our games and others messing up now after going well all season is infinitesimally small. I think it was in our hands, briefly. But 3 or 4 draws lately when we were well on top and should have had 3 wins has killed our chances.

Had we held on last week, we’d be 2 points off.

With a game extra played, granted.

Yeah, maybe it only needed us to turn a couple of those draws to wins. 6 points from Cheltenham and Oxford and it would be a very different picture.

At least ending season on a high, even if it is too little too late.
