3rd Test - NZ vs Ireland 09:00 - Jul 16 with 844 views | Chrisd | Ireland absolutely giving the All Blacks a ‘shellacking’ in their own back yard. Wonderfully, brilliant during that first half. The Irish are on the verge of making rugby history?! [Post edited 16 Jul 2022 9:01]

Probably just about edges England beating NZ and Australia back to back in their own back yard in 2003....and we know what happened then, on to the World Cup win. Will Ireland peak too soon, 1 year out but clearly the best team in the world at present.

Probably the worst New Zealand team of the last 20 years though. Suspect the head coach will get the sack tonight Personally think France are better than the Irish for a start. South Africa too.

Feel that has often been the worry for the Irish where they peak early, they did exactly the same heading into the last World Cup in Japan. Nevertheless, that was an incredible display this morning, just kept going at the All Blacks. Not many sides do that. [Post edited 16 Jul 2022 14:52]

Ireland can only beat what's in front of them and lets be honest any NZ side at home will be tough opposition, so to win the series the first time they have lost a home series in 30 years is rather impressive. Having said that, I do agree that the French look the best side in world rugby at the moment, they look the full package - power, speed and flair, a very exciting side. NZ go to SA next for the start of their Rugby Championship so that should be a good marker too.

You’re probably right but to beat NZ any time is an achievement, let alone in their own back yard. Well done Ireland!

Yes, Peter O'Mahony was very disappointed in the New Zealand team performance.
