There must come a point where you say enough is enough and we look at other targets, if we're lead to believe he is first, second and third target, then as a club they must have thrown the kitchen sink to get him, the fact that he's still in situ sounds like to me, he's not sold on us and wants to play at a higher level. |  |

There must come a point where you say enough is enough and we look at other targets, if we're lead to believe he is first, second and third target, then as a club they must have thrown the kitchen sink to get him, the fact that he's still in situ sounds like to me, he's not sold on us and wants to play at a higher level. |
You'd assume if we are in for him, we would already know if he wants to come here or not. Discussions with agents would have taken place ages ago. We wouldn't be wasting our time otherwise.
It's a big "IF" though, as with most of our transfers this summer they have pretty much come out of nowhere. It wouldn't shock me to see another 'surprise' from McKenna/Ashton.

Imagine he'll be staying there on 20K a week then.
Will be interesting to see if we'd be in for a loan deal or not. The obvious attraction with one year left on his deal was the resale potential, but we still need an alternative striker through the door and we obviously like him. |  | | |
