James Maddison 11:39 - Oct 4 with 1554 views | BlueBlood90 | Being ex-scum I obviously don't like him very much but surely he has to be in the World Cup squad? Seems an absolute no brainer to me. He's been superb for several years now but Southgate clearly doesn't like something about him.

James Maddison on 12:00 - Oct 4 with 1473 views | Wickets | Yup it does seem a bit odd . Maybe better at going forward than defensive duties and dont forget recently been on the bench several times i think . Last night he was outstanding .
James Maddison on 13:10 - Oct 4 with 1351 views | SlippinJimmyJuan | I seem to remember him being selected a few times, but it not working out. First time I think he just didn't get a game, second he withdrew with illness but was then seen at a casino, and then the third time, I think he came on in a big win without contributing much. When he's on song, I really enjoy watching him, but he is fairly inconsistent and always seems to be coming back from an injury, although maybe that is a false perception.

James Maddison on 14:04 - Oct 4 with 1200 views | N2_Blue | Putting the fact he is ex-norwich to one side, he's a lovely player to watch and would be a joke if he's not in squad. When will England ever learn that to do well in tournaments you need players in form not because of what they did the season before or Because he's not played enough England games, doesn't play for a big side, he won't go, and that is a real shame.

James Maddison on 14:31 - Oct 4 with 1129 views | Westover | He seems a decent bloke and has grown up a lot, and should be in the England squad on current form even though he's ex scum.
James Maddison on 14:39 - Oct 4 with 1090 views | Metal_Hacker | Spoke very well after the game last night as well about it all. Shame he's an ex scummer but we can;t have everything can we On current form it would be madness not to take him . Rather him than Mason Mount IMHO

I’d suggest he’s been one of the most consistent players in the Premier League since the start of last season. Stats show he’s second behind Kane for most goals/assists by an Englishman.

Yes he has been injured a bit but hes definitely no inconsistent. Thought I read since the start of last season, only Kane (of english players) has more goals/asists than him.
