Lots to praise tonight in a performance so dominant, but I think that puts to bed once and for all why Ladapo is so important for us.
It's excellent to see TJJ and Edwards putting all their ability together and taking the opportunities, the icing would have been Jackson scoring when he chopped back inside to really show how much depth we have even with Ahadme out.
Aluko was superb on comms and gave a real insight into what we've seen unfolding here. Cambridge came here knowing their only chance was spoiling and we showed that's no longer kryptonite to us.

Ladapo really did work his socks off and nice to see him get a great reception when he came off. I don't think the subs could have gone any better really!

Our strikers worked hard tonight, but have to say some of our first touch was poor by the front three. I understand they play very much on the front foot and try and make some thing happen but maybe a softer touch and keeping hold of the ball would help us. It occasionally feels rushed but that's League One. I'd rather we were trying it because it opens sides up. In this division it won't work as often as you'd like. Keep doing it and we get the result. Tonight just gives me more faith in the current setup. Good times. |  | | |

It was an odd game until we made the subs - we took an age to get the ball up front and, once we did, we seemed to either want to walk it in, suddenly rush play or both. The subs changed the game, and our attack clicked once John-Jules and Edwards came on. |  |

Fully agree, Ladapo has made a huge difference to what we've been able to do and the way we've been able to play, McKenna knew what he wanted and Ladapo is doing a superb job in our system. Wish all fans could see it but that's the way it goes. |  | | |
