Apparently a Labour government will see high inflation, threats of strikes and recession becoming a real possibility…much the same then.

Someone has turned the CCHQ twitter bots on again, then. What's funny is that they don't even know how to make it look as though they care. Still using the "Political Internet Warfare Manual 2016 edition"

That is the theory, read up on Minford their guru in such matters. it is highly unlikely they constantly referred to him during and since the referendum without his core belief not cropping up - he did also support the Poll Tax, though that is not mentioned now And as mad as it sounds there are nutjobs who subscribe to all manner of fanatic stuff, why not them ? The question is however, how much of Minfords lunacy did Truss et al buy into. He was the crank who claimed brexit would deliver 4% growth, whereas it has caused an overall 4% drop (and falling). You have to ask were Truss/Karsi so stupid as to not heed the advice of pretty much everyone else of any worth - or did they follow through on Minfords ideas and just did not fully grasp the wider implications Until there is conclusive evidence either way we cannot know, but as much as I have derided the above two I cannot think they were not aware of advice coming from all corners

Because the globalist elite are conspiring against the purity of the unfettered libertarianism vision innit

It’s a continuation of the post-truth playbook isn’t it. There’s no evidence for such claims whatsoever. And that’s before we get into it being projection of what’s actually happening under the Tories. I can’t fathom how stupid you’d have to be to buy into it. Or brainwashed I suppose. It is a cult after all.
