Another pissed off Saturday night 17:28 - Nov 12 with 1950 viewsgtsb1966

I don't know why I let it bother me but it does. Her indoors prays for a Town win every week. Does anyone else feel the same.

Exactly the same. Really fed up. When you fight relegation, a draw is ok. If you are going for promotion, today feels like a defeat.

As current form stands with, to use a Mickism, a milky defence and an inability to make the most of possession, it looks like play offs at best. But then I’m in uber pessimistic mode, doing a mr negative and not recognising that in a long season you are not always going to be on it 100% of the time, collectively or individually.

We are not half way through the season and there is plenty of time to improve. We are close to having a really good team for this level. I do think an addition up front, a proper target man, might nudge us on - if the right person is out there, is affordable/available. To quote Joe Royle, a team is only as good as it’s forwards.

Yep, the older I get the worse I seem to react to it. It didn't used to bother me so much when I was younger. Think this season it feels more frustrating as we enough quality to make it easier for ourselves.

It’s the frustration that we were so much better than Cheltenham, and undone by 1 sloppy goal, we are fragile and I would fear for us in the play offs.

The only Muff in Town.

Our defence let through one chance on goal. That’s not bad going against an opponent in this division.

I wouldn’t say today’s result is on the back four but purely and squarely at Walton. Even now I have no idea how he let it in.

Poll: Who would you play at right centre back on Saturday?

Results like today and last week will happen and we are having a slight down turn in form but we are still doing very much the right things and im annoyed more than pi*sed off

However I am very pi*sed off at the injuries. 7 major players with serious injuries this season, this could really dent out season.

Replacements can happen in Jan but they have to hit the ground running and get used to mckeenas style - its not been a good couple of weeks but its the injuries that concern me more than the recent results

Poll: Is it now time to sack Paul Cook?

Every club gets injuries. If we are getting more than others, that needs to be looked at (Medical team? Fitness people? Analytics?). However from what KM said the injuries have been unusual in nature so it may just be one of those things.

However, we need a bit of an upturn in fortune if this is not to destroy our season - and an addition or two in January.

I'm very stoic when we don't win when It was expected we should.
Staying in tonight. No pub with my Bristol Rovers friends.
They say we bought the league so they pile on when we stumble.
Rovers are 17th and we're 2nd yet we're the failures.
Need another win asap.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

Yep, I really struggle to get over a result like today. Still sulking.

I just try to look at the positives after a result like today.
We are still second in the table, and we still got to play teams around us at home.
Win those and we will hopefully be pushing clear in the promotion race.
There’s still 28 games to play and I’m sure we will finish above either Plymouth or Wednesday by May, if not both. Finally, all teams go through bad patches, If this is ours then it should start to go our way again.
