Loads closed near me and the rest are hardly open on a weekend.
Have had major issues getting a new card from them because it got sent to a branch......and I work so couldn't get there. Had to jump through hoops but finally got it. |  | | |

Yes, they've been winding down that branch since Covid haven't they. Cut the hours right back and never really reinstated them.
They effectively created their own reason to close the branch by driving customers away, then said not enough punters were using it.
Bit irritated by this as it's useful to discuss things in person sometimes and that means a trip to Bury in future where parking has become more of a money-spinner than a convenience for visitors. | |

I found it inconvenient at first, but as soon everything went on line it’s easier. The only thing you can’t do easily is get problems sorted out (I’m with Lloyds and their phone customer service is 💩). |  |

This is it, we tend to think only our own experiences count.
I can get by pretty much online but there's still the odd occasion I want to speak to someone or do something that requires a physical presence.
I can't load all those gold bars through my laptop now can I? Or by some app.
It must be a nightmare to be over the age where modern tech isn't a given. Things move on so fast that even the average bod who is currently up to date will some day find themselves feeling excluded. | |
