As a fan base can we just accept every single team in the country have injuries short and long term!?
It's NOT an Ipswich thing. The Camara and ball thing is unfortunate. Neither has any major history of injury (i.e. anything abnormal) and they can go on to be great signings. It doesn't matter who we signed we would have injuries during the season.
If there is one thing I hate and I've read quite a few times is when people start saying things like injure players are 'stealing a living' or 'sick notes'. We have a squad. Their do not appear to be any bad eggs. We expect the players to give 100% and that leads to contact injuries. They are all desperate to be part of this. Let's support them back to health ffs!
Also I haven't seen it said much but shout out to the medical teams. They are getting people back rapidly. Leigh, Evans, Harness all ahead of schedule. Players generally have been fit and sharp this season!

Glad to know you haven't seen it. I have which is why I wrote it...
Sicknote, crock, massive waste of money etc etc have all been written.
There is plenty of support for him as well which is nice to see. There are some more reasoned 'arguments' around the signing but we do this over and over again like we are the only club to get injuries. It's all pretty normal.
Maybe it's been taken as a moan but I was just looking for positivity and perspective. | |

He'd had surgery with Plymouth months back. Had returned the grass when we signed him but subsequently Ipswich decided he need a second minor surgery to try and clear it up. It hasn't worked so now a 3rd. It's a shame, nothing Camara can do about it. Calculated risk which in short term has been unfortunate. Can go on to be an excellent signing. | |

Because you didn’t give any specific examples I wasn’t sure who you were referring to. I’m still not. I haven’t seen anyone suggest that Ball is a sick note or that Camara is a massive waste of money, but if you have examples I’m happy to stand corrected. | |

This thread has at least 4 different posters ranging from it being an idiotic signing, him having a poor attitude, it not mattering that we are wasting the money on him, etc.

Haha it was my frustrated reaction to witting something and then a 2nd person saying "well I haven't seen it". You then 'correcting' me on what has actually been written. Put yourself in my shoes for a minute....that's quite annoying. Because I have read those comments e.g. "sick note", "waste of money", "buying crocks" and overly negative comments about the signing of ball and Camara. There is stuff on a few threads for ball, Camara and previously. The response in Phil article had some has some beauts as well.

They do have both. Think I agreed on that on other post. But like with family, friends, your football team. If you see it and you think it's not helpful/disrespectful etc you can mention it and say I don't think this is helping or right. Let's focus on the positives.
