Need to pass with more pace, or have some flying wingers to bring on to stretch teams with width. Two shrewd signings required to make top 2 I feel.

Much like it was with Paul Cook, this notion of two up top equals more chances to score is nonsense. Just because you have two strikers on the pitch does not mean you have more chances, especially when the team is drilled to play with one striker. There is a reason basically no team plays with two up top anymore.

Hitting the target from 3 yards would be a start Freddie has to score that header if we are serious about promotion.

And yet our game plan when teams sit back is to to get the ball wide and cross it (after about 5-10 needless passes between full back winger and CM). What's the point getting the ball in the box with 1 striker? If we want to play with 1 striker then we need a proper no.10 to stay central and play intricate passes, not drift wide in to areas that don't impact games.
