Why is Aluko seemingly now considered a cup player?

Wasn't even on the bench on Saturday. I've voiced annoyance at the lack of his end product and goals at times but he does some brilliant things.

Apart from his debut. Can't say he's ever put in a bad performance. Too good for league 1 to not even be in the squad imo.

I would like to see more of Aluko and Luongo in and around the first team but there are a lot of players for KM to decide who he thinks will do the job best.

I suspect we will see more of those two in the league before the end of the season.
