My guess is they will do everything they can to avoid dishing out refunds.

FWIW, for this reason I'm not even bothering to request one. I ended up watching the match on a 5 inch screen. This was a purchase I would not have made if I knew that this was the only option available to me.

However they will say that I got the product I paid for as I did watch the match (they will know I watched it from their logs). To be honest, it is a position that I couldn't really argue with, despite the fact that I ended up with an inferior product I would never knowingly have paid for.

...but do signatures really work?

The full match link issue is the exact same issue.

I noticed it the night before when I went to check a previous full match. You click "Watch Live" and nothing happens (the page should expand to show the player, but this did not happen). I assumed that the issue was at my end, and forgot about it.

Then on the day of the match, I paid my money, went to the match page and then neither the Watch Live or Listen Live links worked (same issue as above).

Basically one of their developers had broken all watch/listen links across all club websites using iFollow. The app was the only way to watch the match.

Ultimately, someone did not test some changes before pushing them live (or after apparently). They won't admit this though, I'm sure. It will just be put down as a 'technical issue'.

I've now gone on to the app and can watch the whole game.

I was actually at the game but wanted to have a look at the chance Michael Smith missed, although as you mentioned the tiny screen is not as good as watching it on my computer.

It's a massive cock up on iFollow's part, at the very least they should be offering all users a gesture of goodwill towards the next match I would suggest

A refund is the minimum they should do given they failed to provide the service. But it'd be so costly they'll blag and bluster their way out of it.

It's beyond appalling though. They've been creaming off cash for years with a very substandard product comparatively and still can't get it right.

I hope the club questions them publicly and takes up the issue, as it might encourage others too.
