The day it swings our way ? 06:56 - Mar 11 with 1241 viewsmuccletonjoe

Could be a pivotal Saturday in our season today. I think Barnsley will take all 3 points from Plymouth.
The doubts have gone from our game and the momentum is well and truly with us now. It gives the opposition more to worry about and while they are doing that , they are not concentrating on their own game.
A 2 point gap to Plymouth tonight is going to put pressure on them AND Sheffield. Let's see how comfy they are without the cushion

To answer your question, yes I hope it is.

However it could also be another case like last Tue where Plymouth somehow manage to match our result. Don’t think Wendies are even catchable now as they have a game in hand and arguably the greatest momentum of anyone in the league.

By 5pm today, we will have a better picture of how this season is going to pan out.

In my opinion , Wednesday will have a blip and are far from untouchable.

Momentum and a far settled line up, the new signings threw a spanner in the works a tad now KM has worked out the guaranteed starters.

Long may it continue

It could be. As a pessimist, I think it unlikely as whatever we do, I think Plymouth have enough. They’ve shown remarkable resilience in getting the job done.

However, it’s not over for us. I really hope we have a good go at them today and see if we can overwhelm them. Leave everything out there and if we lose, so be it. We are the better side so I don’t think we will.

I feel like 5 wins on the bounce is a big ask. As always you look at the opposition and think you probably wouldn’t swap any of their players, but so often this season we’ve not got the rub of the green.

Hopefully Bolton will take the game to us though, regardless of opposition some of our counter attacking has been delightful lately.

Somehow the most Ipswich scenario seems to be Plymouth lose but so do we. Hope I’m wrong obviously!

Realistically a draw away to the 5th placed team is a decent result, regardless of what happens in other games. A win away to the 5th placed team is an excellent result.

If Plymouth manage to achieve automatic promotion, on their budget, at our expense then that will be a huge achievement that should be warmly congratulated.

Not sure the same applies to the coin chucking, lino intimidating, red-card dodging, face-elbowers.

Even Sheffield Wednesday have developed an effective method of gaming League One (fierce defence, grab one on the break, win the match). Which can be appreciated, even if one does not admire it.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?
