Heads up for Mark Murphy doing his last show on 14:05 - Apr 2 with 720 views | Blue_Order | He invited BA onto his show once to discuss our protests against the ownership/management, then spent the whole time telling us how out of order we were being and what good Evans had brought to the club. I’ve forgiven him, but haven’t forgotten.
Heads up for Mark Murphy doing his last show on 17:24 - Apr 2 with 563 views | rgp1 | Unfortunately local radio is being flushed down the pan. Commercial networks did it years ago and all you get now is the likes of shouty amanda. Does anyone know why local radio is not seen as viable?

With regard to the BBC, it's partly down to budget cuts, but I also sense that the average listener to BBC local radio is probably getting on a bit. I can't comment on Radio Suffolk (apart from its football coverage) but I know my elderly mother in Sussex and then Kent listened most of the day to the BBC local radio stations, which are much less shouty, and much less trying to be hip, than, say, Radio 2. Perhaps this is a declining demographic now that many people in their 60s and 70s (I am one) are desperate to hang on to their youth. [Post edited 2 Apr 2023 17:37]

Isn't that his role and then giving you the opportunity to present your case? He gave you the airtime.
