Renewing/transferring season tickets – advice please! 10:19 - Apr 11 with 2214 views | thebooks | My son’s off to Uni in Sep so I have a decision to make about renewing our season tickets. I’ve tried to get some friends interested in getting one next year, but no joy. I like the people I sit around, but I’m not sure I want to go without my son. So I’m thinking I could renew by Fri, but then sell the ticket on if I choose not to go (at face vaule, incidentally — I’m not looking to make a profit if there is a shortage of season tickets in NS lower next season). So my questions are: - How likely is it I’d get a buyer for one adult lower NS ticket, possibly with an under-19 ticket as well - Is it possible to transfer tickets to someone else, should I sell it? TIA.
Renewing/transferring season tickets — advice please! on 10:49 - Apr 11 with 2114 views | bluelagos | From experience I've found midweek games, you literally can't give them away - as quite a few spares are floating due to people with kids not being able to attend. Saturday's are much easier to find someone. Next season - suppose much will depend on how we doing. If games are selling out, am sure you'll be able to move them on. If not will be much harder. NS lower always sells out first, so that should help. Be prepared for the fun police to be on your case (This is Twtd!) as technically re-selling is against club policy, but I've never known them to be arsey as long as tickets aren't sold for a profit. Easy to upgrade and also to email your lads ticket on. Not so sure about your main one...

Renewing/transferring season tickets — advice please! on 11:13 - Apr 11 with 2053 views | le2blue | From what I'm hearing, if we go up we're going to be seeing some serious investment going into the team to maintain momentum and push on, so I suspect the demand will be off the scale, especially for weekend games and in the NS. So as mentioned below, don't think you'll have issues with selling and passing on to other supporters.
Renewing/transferring season tickets — advice please! on 11:24 - Apr 11 with 2014 views | Steve_M | How many matches is your son likely to make and how much can you afford to write off (at worst) the rest of the cost? Given the current level of demand and the much cheaper renewal rate, especially with any team card points, then I think I would be minded to renew and know that you could probably sell on the ticket for a good number of matches. Presumably your friends might do individual matches but not all of them?

As well as this, possibly consider the following season as well... should you let it go now, how difficult might it be to get one/two next season should you decide you want to again if most of next season's ST's keep them on into 2024/5?

I've had to do similar for next season - I have a ST in the Sir Bob Suite with my Dad, but these are obviously pricey. My kids want to start coming but are 6 and 4 so a bit young for every game but if progression continues I simply won't be able to get them a Season Ticket for them when they are nailed on as wanting to go every game. The ST is near me, so my wife can take them sometimes, or my brother in law can take nephew, or friends etc......it will always be used (and I won't profit from it - as will just give away) but feels important when STs are becoming sparse and so much cheaper than matchday tickets.
