I was actually worried about Charlton. Shows, again, that I don’t have a clue!

Must admit I was too.

Even when we were four up, I was still biting my nails - in light of this season's history with them, wasn't happy or able to relax at all till the 5th went in! 😂

I'm still scarred by our trip away there this season. I thought this was a nailed on opportunity for us to drop points, especially after Monday. Today was more than just a win. A real statement of intent, a show of team ressiliance and proof of just how far we have come. That Jan window was sublime for us

You’re not alone. My worry after the Cheltenham scuffle was that we would get ambushed by a side that’s recovered well and in good form.

Errr, maybe not.a steamroller job. Fantastic performance and result. We are a measure and more for anyone at the moment. Well done the lads, KM and the staff.

The way Town are playing right now, they look different gravy to me

We seem to have another gear now that teams at this level just don't seem to be able to counteract

I suspect Fleetwood are more likely to have success against us, over Peterborough and Barnsley

They'll park 11 behind the ball and defend for their lives, Peterborough and Barnsley will try and come at us, which will suit us

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

I posted this earlier, incidentally
Charlton look like a side by bournemouthblue 15 Apr 2023 15:49
who could be competitive next season with some decent management

They look far more dynamic going forward than most sides we face, they're just not a team currently and not very well organised!

Charlton were poor but you can see how they would cause other sides problems at this level

I did post after Monday that the result vs Cheltenham might not be a bad thing and remind a few players we can’t afford to drop off the intensity etc.

Looks like Charlton were on the end of a team proving a point to McKenna

Our promotion needs to be secured before that end of season game doesn’t it. That might happen if others slip up (but of course we must keep winning our own games).
