Burley’s promotion team was wonderful, but I think I have to go back to SBR days for the sense of such an all-conquering side. Different levels obviously, but even so, this side of KM’s are truly magnificent in their own right. | |

I thought that was going to be a massive challenge. Barnsley were on a great home run coming into this. Won their last 9 at home, goals for 28, goals against 6. Including scoring 4 against Sheff Wed, 3 against Plymouth, 4 against Derby. I had us scrapping for a draw or a narrow one goal win. Not this. They had spells, but they never really threatened, whilst we missed a pen and hit the bar.
I was nervy as hell watching it, but I suspect a neutral would have thought we were in total control. |  |
