No, not that one. The young lad at Villa. Will be interesting to see if he can follow in his brothers footsteps and establish himself in the senior squad. Villa have stepped up a notch under Emery and I think this window might see a bit of rotation for them, will be interesting to see what they do with him next season.

Yeah Dean Smith took him there, played a fair bit for them until he got injured. That'll be even sweeter when he rattles one in at Carrow Road.
I think another full season in the Championship is probably best for his development, could see him and Broadhead absolutely purring. | |

It's very difficult to imagine a scenario where we pick up any players who have recently played a starring role as a young loanee in a top 6 Championship team.
Think people are getting a bit carried away here. Young players that really excel in the Championship don't tend to then re-appear in the same division and they certainly don't re-appear in the same division with a newly promoted team. |  |

Tend to agree with that, although in his case he's had a stop start season owing to injury. He's only started 20 games, and I do wonder how close he is to Premier League football just yet. Smith was no doubt a big factor in him getting the Norwich move and following that Boro were doing well, under a progressive manager and they probably wanted him in that environment.
It wouldn't surprise me to see him back in the Championship for another season though. I don't think it's unreasonable to suggest we're atypical of recently promoted L1 sides in terms of the development opportunity. In the same respect Diallo was sent to newly promoted Sunderland off the back of his Rangers loan, whereas I dare say he wouldn't have been sent to a Rotherham.
