"Former Watford manager" applies to about 1/4 of managers in the EFL.

Watford fans don't seem keen on him, and he can't seem to hold down a job for more than a few months. One of my favourites for relegation this season.

From what I've seen (which isn't much TBF) they seem quite happy with this.

He did get Watford up and was sacked by them when Watford were 15th ish in the PL. Hasn't lasted more than a season anywhere though.

Poll: Will Phil ever confirm we are actually close on a signing ever again

He's an odd appointment.

Only had 1/3rd of a season at Dinamo Tbilisi, winning the league with a side already top and which won the league the previous season.

Then appointed manager at Watford in the December, promoted with a side already at the top of the table with a side relegated from the Prem the previous season, with parachute payments. Sacked 3 months into a Premier league campaign, in 15th, but then, this is Watford.

Appointed manager of Huseca, a team without a championship winning squad, with no money. Sacked at the end of the season.

Appointed manager of Anorthosis, a team without a championship winning squad, with no money. Sacked after three months.

Appointed manager of Sheffield Wednesday, a team without a championship winning squad, with no money and no players. Sacked after ???????.

Poll: Is it more annoying when builders

3 months... my money is on them being relegated next season, the owner is clueless. Watford fans were amazed that he was kept for their premier league campaign, he basically was the cheerleader when they got promoted, tactically totally inept by all accounts.

I thought their owner said they wouldn't have to Google him

Why employ a bloke with a boring name like Dean Smith or Neil Warnock when there’s a Xisco Munoz available? It’s a great name with a whiff of success about it before he’s even managed his way into to the club car park.

It’s exotic, different and he has to be good, as he’s foreign…..maybe.

Ignoring his record, it’s got to be better than Daniel Farke, who reminds me of one of the characters in the Green Mile that winds up in the Electric Chair.

That made me laugh way more than it should have.

Farke, unfortunately, makes a lot of sense for Leeds.

Took a worse squad than Leeds currently have up to the PL and does get his teams playing decent football.
