on the new format of the ITV EFL show.

I know a lot of the studio discussion was fairly basic and cliched, but it was nice to have at least some analysis of matches and the divisions, rather than just a fairly raw digest of highlights packages, rushing from one game to the next, then briefly flashing up the table.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

I still think the BBC did it the best. Quest was not great but still more enjoyable than ITV's presentation

Agreed. Not least because after all those years of mediocrity & understandable dismissal with barely a mention, it'd be nice now for us to get a justified pat on the back, however childish a wish that is!

It's never going to be the package that football fans the world over hunger for. But, personally, I was disappointed that the Quest team (Colin plus stat guys) weren't talen on by ITV4. I warmed to their knowledge and seeming enthusiasm.

Better than the epilepsy inducing new Match of The Day intro. Genuinely makes my eyes hurt.

Was a good show for League 1 and 2 coverage too but they've scrapped any interest of that and just throw all those goals together at the end of the show.

They've cut 30 mins, crazy decision. Guess they're trying to finish before people switch over to MotD

Have to admit the format does give me happy nostalgic memories of keeping myself awake into the early hours to see Gabriel Clarke pop up at a random ground to do a feature on the kitman's collection of used headbands before whipping through the games until I was finally able to catch 15 seconds of our epic struggle at Stockport or Crewe.
