6 points from those two games is a great effort. Four changes tonight but we kept up the same intensity we always play with. Maybe weren't quite at our best with the ball and could have made it more comfortable if we had been, but that's quibbling. Superb away performance and good to see our game management is getting better and better as well. Saw it out pretty well in the end.

Exactly right regarding game management. That's as professional performance as I can remember seeing from an Ipswich team. Dug in when needed, hit them on the break, got the ball nice and wide and defensively, we looked like we could have gone on another half an hour or so with comfort.

Woolf was superb I thought, Burgess too. Clarke's best performance of the season as well, and Williams was quality too. Really solid unit at the back, for all their ability they didn't create many clear chances.

Even Keane used to moan that our game management wasn't good enough. It's a skill from higher levels that we are now seeing coached into the players by McK and his team, and we have the players with enough nous to take those instructions in and carry them out.
