I’m nervous about what happens in the new year. We’re heavily reliant on our 1st eleven in many areas of the pitch. If Morsy and Luongo get called up, we’re screwed unless we reinforce in Jan (and I suspect we will if we know they’re going to be missing). That’s a potential make or break of our season.

It's going to be hard to replace Morsy and Luongo's tenacity, they're very key to our pressing game too
I think midweek showed that Ball is not a natural replacement for the two

I am not sure anyone would replace the two of them. That is a tall ask.
If we need to replace one, I would look to Humphreys but clearly he isn't currently ahead of Taylor or Ball. Perhaps they will step up to the mark if they have to. I think January may see us bring someone in for that position.

That definitely seems possible, they'll have to be a quality player!
