Coffey just confirmed as fired. Wonder if she'll be taking a dip in any rivers in her spare time?

Probably not.

Edit:

Normally get sacked in private. She did the slow walk into No.10, the sign of a promotion. Shockingly sh1te to the end.

Some wag on twitter wondered if she just wanted one last dump down the No 10 bogs.

On the very same morning as Sunak was clearing out some of the sh1te from his cabinet.

That's a hell of a coincidence!

Incorrect.

It would have been impossible for her to descend any lower than she already was.

Proud of what she achieved, apparently.

Lacking self-awareness to the very end.

No doubt she will announce she is not standing for re-election....
embarrassed to get voted out....should be made to attend any GE so they face the music

I would imagine that if she stood she would get re-elected. Her majority was 35% and I can't imagine that constituency returning anything other than a Conservative even if the candidate actually tipped excrement over each elector.

“if the candidate actually tipped excrement over each elector.“

Candidates wouldn’t need to bother going to all that effort, just encourage voters to go wild swimming in the local river.

Worth noting that large parts of her constituency voted Green in the council elections this year.

Sizewell, plus her record on the environment, have stirred things up a bit!
