I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

And the BBC spouting the party line of "changes" not cuts, which is what this is.

"Ministers have drawn up large benefit changes..."

The other favoured term is ‘Reform’. Civil Service contracts were ‘reformed’. Longer hours, less time off, much worse sick absence rules etc etc. T&C cuts, basically.

Where I live road maintenance has been put into ‘managed decline’. A glossy term for roads budget cut to literally zero. Mealy mouthed words to sanitise the indefensible.

So for large benefit changes, read taking money from those most vulnerable in society to give via tax cuts to those who least need it - Rishi, Cameron, JRM, Johnson, their mates, their mates’ friends. Vote winner I’d say!

The months pass and this mob cling on to power like brown stuff to a cow’s rear end. Go! Just go!

Although the headline....

"Welfare cuts worth billions planned by ministers"

Also, I’m sure it’s no coincidence he’s come out of the woodwork now that West Ham, sorry, Aston Villa are doing well.

This looks like a desperate attempt to pretend the Conservative party is not completely full of far right extremist MP's, I expect to see a few of these types of changes as we approach the election, than if re-elected, they will replace him/them and resume the far right agenda.

He is a political lightweight but the current lot make him look like a towering statesman.
