Maybe clutching at straws, but another sign that the club is doing things the right way?

With our profile at the moment, I'm sure the club could have got a better deal out of a gambling/forex firm or suchlike, but we've gone with a local company (albeit one that can afford an F1 sponsorship...)

The comment from Andy Wooldridge seems incredibly positive as well:

“It is important that we partner with the right organisations and Halo are compatible with the club on so many levels."

A far cry from the Magical Vegas days, and selling sponsorships to the highest bidder.

Local company, but one that's happy to pay the big money for sleeve sponsor and the Cobbold cladding sponsorship.

Club appears more savvy recently about maximising these opportunities.

Nice boost to the January kitty.

Cobbold cladding sponsorship? What's that?

I assume I'm not quite up to speed having missed the Millwall and Coventry games?

Its a really good company just around the corner from my works.
These guys sponsor the Halo on the Mclaren F1 car. The owner has rented loads of times off me and a really nice guy.

Its almost like the perfect fit for both parties, rather than being sold to the highest bidder.

I think the letters on the sleeve actually stand for Have A Look, Others — Ipswich Town: So Magnificent.

I've rolled out Halo in a previous role. It's my favourite ITSM.

So when I saw this I immediately messaged them asking for promo stuff!

Makes sense.

I assume that one big deal with a large local company is worth more to the club than multiple smaller deals with the likes of Broad Oak Farm et. al.

Hope the merch is incoming.

What's so good about Halo compared to the big boys like ServiceNow - architecture? usability? integration? configuration?

Does seem to be highly rated, and amazing to get a tech firm that looks on the way up from Stowmarket.

Interesting the owners guarantee of no buy-out in 10-years - as always risk these nice agile solutions tend to get eaten up and then you're on a upgrade path to some cumbersome enterprise platform.

In my digital overlord days I owned a SW portfolio that included a large ITSM player, we tried to bring ITAM, ITSM and EAM together... was rather too ambitious and forward thinking - but so necessary now with digitalisation of the physical world.

It is much more user friendly then most others, I ran a tender process to select it and it scored higher on most things. But as well as the usability of it. It's also much easier to configure to how you want it to operate and reporting is pretty easy as well.

Did some onboarding and config with a guy there called Morgan who was excellent to work with, support is good too, and UK based.
