Interesting to note from QPR forums 15:11 - Dec 30 with 1561 viewsunstableblue

.. a bit of a consensus of:

- that’s their strongest 11 excepting Colback for Dozzell
- Dozzell played well for a change
- QPR overall were much improved on recent displays
- they lack threat bar the penalty shouts
- their keeper made some crucial saves
- they understood we were weakened but still lumped us in with the mediocre quality of the league

The last line is a bit of cope deployed by similar peer teams below us in the table usually.

Though it has to be said, our performances against them this season home and away have been of the 6/10 variety.

Last night we were at the mediocre level of much of the league but that's because we'd lost half our team to injury or illness, with one change having to be made just before kick off. That we still had the better chances against them at full strength playing well by their standards should be worrying for them. For us, it's just frustrating that we were so depleted as at anything close to full strength I think we'd have battered them.

Not forgetting of course that QPR have been in the premier league more recently than us... They had quite a strong line up and the fact they were able to bring on Lyndon Dykes off the bench, who's decent at this level, is no mean feat.

Chair is class and has been for some time too!

Take the point and move on, based on the amount of changes we made

That last bit is like judging a team based on a league cup side.

Truly impaired.
