Killed ourselves off in that game. 17:04 - Feb 3 with 1985 viewsScuzzer

We were culpable for all three of their goals.
And again we dominate in possession, attempts and shots on goal...just like against Maidstone.
Hard to understand what's going on.

I can understand being a little culpable for the first one where Morsy was fouled. But the second was a pretty good offside trap that was missed, I don't think that's our fault, if it's properly spotted it's just excellent defending.

The third one was rubbish though, an unenforced error.

No we weren't.

No need to believe me -

"The first was down to a foul ignored by the ref; the second was offside; the score should still be 0-0".

Ian Westlake when it was still 2-0.

The folly of not getting in a decent defender in the window is there for all to see. We've been shipping way too many goals for a promotion-chasing side in the first half of the season. I love McKenna but his obsession with attack and attacking full-backs is costing us dear.

It wasn't a foul tho. And prob why no town player appealed it. Keane did a job on morsy.

Signing a centre back wouldn't change much before of your final sentence. Our style of play exposes the defence. We rely on the midfield to protect them, and they have struggled to do that of late.

We patently need a CB that runs the whole defence, and controls the passing from the back along with managing forward pressing from the opposition. Taunzebe doesn't cut it, nor sadly does Fridge. That's been obvious for a while now. Failing that, he should have played Travis rather than Luongo against a dangerous attack.

That was understandable for me and we've seen it multiple times since the November international break. We don't have the quality in very tight spaces to consistently win the high intensity v high intensity periods of a game. Teams don't typically hunt Leeds or Saints with the commitment they do us because they'd be carved open. We aren't better man-for-man than much of the division though, so it's the best approach to shut us down. Attempts and shots swung our way today on account of the scoreline. Moore now allows us to mix up our game so much better and our depth is brilliant, so hopefully that gives opposing managers more to think about and legs shouldn't be an issue as the season goes longer.

It's that sort of sometimes you get them sometimes you don't but we have to defend better . Think the lino gets caught a bit behind play so not in a position to give a pretty obvious offside for the second . Some shocking defending cost us no doubt .

If it wasn’t for his obsession around attacking- we wouldn’t have been in the Top 4 all season . Don’t be so short sighted

Well foul for the first goal, definitely offside for the second and some suicidal decisions for the third. We all moan about VAR myself included but it would have saved us today🙄

* Should. There's no guarantees it would have done considering decisions made this season in the Premier League.

Terrible decision that one

Linos even arched their body to be inline with edmundson yet still fails to see the preston player is ahead.

Can't pause but Clarke looks further up the pitch than Edmundson.

It was appalling and he had a similar mare in our favour second half, although in nowhere near as dangerous a situation.
