I would give Edmundson , Clarke, Burns & Chaplin a rest......and instruct Hladky to cut out the antics. . We just might not go a goal down. Or three goals.

I don't see us continuing with our league 1 team bar moore. We've brought in players to improve the team I think nows the time to start seeing them have a run of games from the start.

McKenna's not one for panicking. Changing a midfield two and right winger who have taken us to an automatic promotion battle smacks of that. Travis played well at home to Sunderland but was poor at Leicester. I'd suggest he'll be coming in for Luongo in three game weeks and, if he stakes a claim there, perhaps he'll keep his place. But, for now, I expect we'll stick to the team which got us here except for Moore replacing Hirst.

It's not really panic to play players you've purchased in the transfer windows.

We did play Travis. He has a 50% success rate. I don't think he's done enough to replace Luongo so, for me, bringing him now would represent a sign of panic. Hutchinson barely makes an impact when he starts but makes more of a mark from the bench. Sarmiento for Broadhead made sense today but he was very disappointing, and we could have another Hutchinson on our hands.

How many games has hutch had on the right from the start? Maybe he should have a run in Chaplins place instead? I dunno. But KM has said we signed players to add quality yet we see the same faces.

Team v Brom? on 23:07 - Feb 3 with 1244 views | Dennyx4 | I know you are not keen on Burns, but without Hirst, he gives you the option of pace in behind, if a team plays a high defensive line, and for that reason, I would keep him in the starting line up ahead of Hutchinson. Also Hutchinson and Sarmiento coming off the bench give us a different approach later on if needed. I wouldn’t have Travis ahead of Luongo yet, but that could happen going forward.
Team v Brom? on 23:11 - Feb 3 with 1207 views | NthQldITFC | I really don't think Edmundson has done anything to deserve being dropped. He was unlucky today for the two goals, but otherwise played well defensively (great upper body strength a couple of times) and carried it forward quite well too.

It's not really about his performance tbh more of our balance as a team his lack of left foot. Burgess has been gone a while and we've not been the same since imo. We've now got moore to be the hirst replacement Get Burgess back in and get back to a more balanced cb pairing and I think we will see a bit more of davis with the ball too as edmundson tends to try and spray it towards the right which is natural to him.
