How must our players be feeling ? 20:43 - May 23 with 1917 views | ArnieM | Knowing how us fans are feeling about it all(mixed responses I appreciate), but tbh I’m feeling so disappointed that he can quite possibly now just walk away without giving it just one season with Town in the PL. Something he’s worked so hard, and closely with staff and players to achieve. How in earth are our players feeling about it all, gutted, betrayed even? I don’t know, but after all euphoria we’ve had just two weeks ago, it now feels as flat as ditch water and almost, “ what was the point” . Yes, we’re in the PL, but IF he does go , which looks increasingly likely (the lack of response from the club is deafening), the upheaval this will Cause, with managerial and back room staff replacements, just at a time when we should be focusing on new player recruits ,is hardly the ideal preparation for the hardest league in the world in just 10-12 weeks time. Gutted, disappointed doesn’t even come close …

He must now have some clubs eyeing him up, now may be a very good time to get a new deal in place... but how do you do that if the manager may or may not be here.

How must our players be feeling ? on 21:04 - May 23 with 1689 views | Nutkins_Return | They'll be fine. Man has taken their careers to new levels and they'll have nothing but admiration for him and wish him the absolute best if he goes. They'll be disappointed but happy for him. They will then reset and get ready for the season under a new manager. If we get the right one he'll address the challenge ahead, focus the minds and get them bought into what he wants. Ffs why does everyone have to see it has some sort of betrayal. It's football. The club goes on IF he even goes.

Will they though? Some may have felt he was their chance of playing prem football. A new manager might not want certain players.. The harness, Jackson fringe type players for example. Or even our own humphreys. Even the likes of Morsy who's evolved with kms football.

How must our players be feeling ? on 21:13 - May 23 with 1568 views | Bossy | They’ll be feeling deflated. You’d have to be a complete airhead to not realise this. This isn’t about the club or the players though. This is about McKenna desperately trying to find another club to manage (he’s the only manager that’s been linked with EVERYTHING).

McKenna desperately....you've lost the plot. I imagine he is completely relaxed. There are no bad options here for him. He has some fantastic options including staying and all well deserved. Players will be sad to see him go. They won't be deflated. They are enjoying their holidays. They won't want him to go. But they won't cry about it. You never lost a good boss or colleague at work?

How must our players be feeling ? on 21:44 - May 23 with 1323 views | Help | From what I understand the players are as confused as we are. One believes from his conversations with Kieran that he is staying , and another one believes from his conversations with Kieran that he is going. Just two first team players who have no more idea than we have. I hope for everyone's sake that whatever happens is sorted out sooner rather than later, so that all parties, and especially ITFC can move on with or without him as the whole situation is becoming ridiculous.

How must our players be feeling ? on 21:52 - May 23 with 1264 views | Guthrum | How many of them have lived through managerial changes already? Most? Quite a few came here (according to reports) because of links with Paul Cook. Then he was sacked and some very young novice was appointed instead.
