Another for the future like the Palace lad; I mentioned on an old thread that I'm not too up on the current crop of U21's (only one that caught my eye over the past couple of years is Agbaje, and I know he had to come back from a pretty lengthy injury) Promotion puts us in a stronger position to strengthen the U21's with an eye on them stepping up somewhere down the line - low risk strategy in terms of finances; does mean we'll probably be a bit more ruthless with our own academy players who look like they won't make the grade. |  |

Any current U21 players you've spotted who you think have the potential to step up? With an eye on the future, if we are loaning out our U21's we really need to be aiming for players who can play at levels above non-league.
Players who come through the system who are already over 21 by the time we can get them loans in league football (e.g. El Miz, Ndaba) you'd think have missed the boat at breaking through here (particularly with the limits on squad numbers) | |
