Euro 2024 20:19 - Jul 6 with 1750 views | Chrisd | Pleased for England of course with tonight’s victory, but by Christ this tournament has to go down as one of the dullest competitions in recent history. I’ve watched most of the games and I can probably count on one hand the amount of decent and entertaining matches there has been. We’re meant to be seeing the cream of European football on display and to say it is underwhelming is a huge understatement. [Post edited 6 Jul 2024 20:24]

Euro 2024 on 23:39 - Jul 6 with 1590 views | MVBlue | Makes me wonder though, World Cups are always better, so much more going on. And at these tournaments theres always some teams that shine and turn up every game like Spain. But there has been leas stand out players I would say.

I've not watched too many other games to know who would be the stand out players so far, but would any England player make the team of the tournament? Rice maybe?

No, thought he's looked pretty decent so far. Albeit compared to the rest of the England squad

Certainly Saka. Maybe Bellingham. Deffo not Kane! He's a passenger in this side. He seems to have forgotten he's supposed to be in the box to put chances away.

Euro 2024 on 10:56 - Jul 7 with 1175 views | SuperKieranMcKenna | Wait till UEFA realise they can include even MORE teams. Where there’s a Euro to be made, they can expand it further so we can include the likes of Gibraltar and San Marino.
Euro 2024 on 10:57 - Jul 7 with 1171 views | blueasfook | I think Turkey vs Georgia in the group games was the best I've seen so far. Both teams going at it, couple of world class goals to enjoy. Real end to end stuff.

I have warmed to him after reading this about the row after the Slovakia match: Rice said to Calzone: ‘Shut up, p***, oi, shut up, you bald c***.’
Euro 2024 on 11:10 - Jul 7 with 1081 views | BloomBlue | To be fair it was predicted a few years ago by a few mgrs, that as you increase the number of clubs involved in European football competitions & the number of teams in international football, ultimately burn out will happen with some players and the excitement/entertainment will drop. It started to show itself at the last Euros and this time similar, some entertainment in the group games but then it's slowly declined, even Spain were lethargic against Germany. France are playing like it's a practice match with the aim of the defenders keep the ball in their own half and don't let the forwards have it.

Just read that and not entirely sure what his point is. It certainly doesn't say that Rice hasn't played well? Just that he doesn't particularly like his style of football, right?

I have a feeling Bellingham will be included but more because of who he is rather than how he's played
