+4 on the board, at least 1:30 taken up by a combination of Spanish play acting and then preparing to take the free kick, and then for the referee to blow on 4 minutes exactly. It makes no sense whatsoever and just defies the point of adding time on.

We have this working better in England. +8 to +12 actual time played we see regularly. Most games at the Euros have been +4 as the VAR has been parked or left in auto-mode. |  | | |

The trouble is, Saka would probably have done exactly the same thing. There lies the issue, they'll all happily cheat if it means winning.

Didn’t the whistle go at like 93.53 or something along with at least 2 mins of stoppages within stoppage time. Even a long punt and a flick of a Spain player goes out for a corner then Pickford probably comes up causes chaos and you never know. At least let the potential situation play out possibly. |  | | |
