What's the sodding point?

+4 on the board, at least 1:30 taken up by a combination of Spanish play acting and then preparing to take the free kick, and then for the referee to blow on 4 minutes exactly. It makes no sense whatsoever and just defies the point of adding time on.

Best side won and all that but we should have had another two minutes to put pressure on their box.

Absolutely infuriating wasn’t it. Especially as the second stoppage was a very very soft looking foul.

What happened to a MINIMUM of four minutes….?!

I shouted out "Wan*er" at full time in front of the kids, but there is a time and a place for foul language, and it doesn't get much more appropriate!

Absolute joke, ball must have been active for max 30 secs, start of the season we had 14 mins injury time. Softest foul ever given against Sakha

The only Muff in Town.

We have this working better in England. +8 to +12 actual time played we see regularly. Most games at the Euros have been +4 as the VAR has been parked or left in auto-mode.

I noticed that too. Just encourages time-wasting. FIFA and the Premier League have cottoned on but UEFA don't seem bothered.

The trouble is, Saka would probably have done exactly the same thing. There lies the issue, they'll all happily cheat if it means winning.

Why those in charge of football just let it happen is a mystery.

UEFA just stick a few minutes up. Always have.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Its happened all tournament.

Some games had all 10 subs, added time was 3 or 4 mins. I thought it was 30 seconds a sub?

Didn’t the whistle go at like 93.53 or something along with at least 2 mins of stoppages within stoppage time. Even a long punt and a flick of a Spain player goes out for a corner then Pickford probably comes up causes chaos and you never know. At least let the potential situation play out possibly.
