Early transfer business, possibly at a premium price 18:23 - Jul 17 with 1642 viewsDubtractor

Feels to me like we've made a choice to 'not fook about' with our transfer business this summer so far, even if it means having paid a bit more in some cases.

Deals for the likes of Omari, Greaves and Delap in particular, where other clubs will have been interested, we've just got on and got the deal done.

Assume this is about McKenna wanting as much time as possible to integrate into the team, rather than wait till eg October before new signings are fully settled.

We probably won't have much margin for error this season, so every training session counts!

Correct!

Albeit implied that we definitely have paid a premium, whereas possibly (clearly) does not, as it is just my speculation.

PSR rules have also helped to get the market moving with clubs looking to avoid issues.

And particularly helped get the Hut h deal done at probably a cheaper rate rather than over pay

Definitely seems to be what we tried to do with the Greek lad but Panathinaikos clearly happy to sit back and wait until someone coughs up what they want, which looks unlikely to be us.

Think we may have to wait for some deals now - especially our loan spots which we'll have to utilise well.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

I ruled out 'Albert' and 'albino' before settling on 'albeit'.
