Macron speaking with an umbrella held over him made me think of that too alongside "what a difference being able to plan effectively makes".

Sunak getting soaked wasn’t down to lack of planning. They considered using an umbrella for the election announcement but an aide suggested it had echoes of Steve McClaren and the “wally with the brolly” so they thought he would look tougher braving the elements. Which totally backfired.
