He's a 50% shareholder. So is on for £2.7b if it happens, the board of Hargreves Lansdown have indicated their support, so Bristol City might get a big cash injection from Lansdown.

Deal has until Friday to complete.

He's spent quite a lot trying to level Brizzle up with little success although they are at least an established Championship Club nowadays and not a League One/Championship yoyo club

Their Stadium redevelopment has been quite impressive

Brizzle fans seem to be pretty demanding bunch considering they've only had something like one Championship play-off finish in their 40 odd years out of the top flight

They lost £22M last year and £28M the year before. Only sustainable while he pumps in multi millions each season. He’s been looking to sell for a while now.
