Manchester Picaddily -> Ground 14:36 - Aug 22 with 1492 views | victorysquad | Anyone heading up by train, what time you allowing to get to the ground from the centre - is 1 hour over doing it? I assume tram is best ? any advice appreciated (I have read the guide but there seems like there are a couple of options)

that is what is confusing, it seems it is only 1.4 miles, so do a lot of people just walk it?

Some discussion here on it. walking from Man Picadilly to the Etihad by Alan_Handsome 19 Aug 2024 15:45I am going to the match on Saturday on my own and was planning to walk the journey from the railway station to the ground as it's only 1.5 miles. Does anyone know if it is a safe walk, or would the walk from the station to the ground be through any rough areas? It's essentially walking along the A662.
Thank you in advance. | |

Info here, written by people who have been there a few times: https://www.itfc.co.uk/supporters/fanguides Bear in mind trams can get quite queuey from a couple of hours before kick off. Further you are fm the ground, the easier it is to board, and the more likely you are to find a pub that lets you in too...

Also the Piccadilly, on the station approach (unless it got renamed!!!). I love the nearby Northern Monk Refectory; last time there I kicked off an 8-hour session with just a third of a 17.5% QIPA. Might be best saved for post-match... | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Manchester Picaddily -> Ground on 20:53 - Aug 22 with 766 views | GlasgowBlue | I'm driving down but will park up at Piccadilly and get the tram. Been told it's a quick ride. As the actress said to the bishop.
