Anyone heading up by train, what time you allowing to get to the ground from the centre - is 1 hour over doing it? I assume tram is best ? any advice appreciated (I have read the guide but there seems like there are a couple of options) |  |

that is what is confusing, it seems it is only 1.4 miles, so do a lot of people just walk it? | |

walking from Man Picadilly to the Etihad by Alan_Handsome 19 Aug 2024 15:45I am going to the match on Saturday on my own and was planning to walk the journey from the railway station to the ground as it's only 1.5 miles. Does anyone know if it is a safe walk, or would the walk from the station to the ground be through any rough areas? It's essentially walking along the A662.

Arriving at just after 1pm and planning to take tram to ground. Google says about 35 min walk so walking back to station after game.

Bear in mind trams can get quite queuey from a couple of hours before kick off. Further you are fm the ground, the easier it is to board, and the more likely you are to find a pub that lets you in too... | | | |
